Halloween Birthday Gift Box

A friend asked me to make a gift box and card for a Halloween Birthday party.  I decorated the top and three sides.  I neglected to photograph the finished card - I hate when I do that!  Anyway, above are photos of the decorated box, also the envelope.

Stampin Up Supplies:

Extra Large Gift Box - Holiday Catalog
Witches Brew DSP - Holiday Catalog
Black Chevron Ribbon
Gift Bow Die
Rosette Die
Envelope Punch Board (for 4 x 8 card)
Black Cardstock
Bat Punch (retired)
Circle Punch
Circle Framelits (for crescent moon)
Basic Gray CS and Vellum for moon
Staz On Black Ink

Non SU:
Ghosts #2 Bigz Die
Silhouette Cameo and images: Graveyard scene, Black Cat
Little Ghost on top - Old Jolee embellishment

The box was stuffed with black tissue paper and was the perfect width to hold the gift card and envelope.  This was soooooo much fun to make!

Witches Hat Box

I made this cute little witches hat box to hold some candy.  I managed to get three peanut butter pumpkins (small ones) in it.  I originally saw it at Flowerbug's Inkspot and had to try it.  There's a link there to instructions.  I like how it turned out.   I used all SU products except the purple glitter on the buckle.  One piece of black cardstock, a strip of dsp, a star stamp, white craft ink, a punch (for the buckle) and some ribbon to hang (you can only see a little bit of the ribbon on the top of the box) is pretty much all you need.  Try it.

Happy Halloween!  Thanks for stopping in today.

Wicked Witch - My Pretty!

I had to try my hand at making this wicked witch.  The talented Patty Bennett from Patty Stamps is where I found her.   My card is 4 x 8.  I made my own "bat" background paper with a bat stamp I've had in my stash forever.  The dress form die from Stampin Up and a few punches are pretty much all you need to make the witch. I gave her some bling with a glimmer paper star on her hat and shoes.  She's also showing a little leg!  I also used the retired SU bat punch for some dimension.  She's popped up on dimensionals.  The sentiment was computer generated and punched out with the new Label Bracket Punch in the Holiday catalog.  I like her.  I hope you do too.

Skeleton For Halloween

This was so much fun to make.  The cut file was from SVG Cuts Spooky Soiree.  I cut my pieces with my Silhouette Cameo.  You only need card stock, brads, glue and a little ribbon to hang him up!  All supplies were Stampin Up.  My friend Nancy (from Nanny's Pansy Patch) and I got together to make this spooky fellow.

Have a great rest of the weekend!  And many thanks for stopping in today.

Lovely As a Tree Christmas

I liked the card over on Wild West Paper Arts.  It was #1 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas series.  I believe you need to subscribe to her newsletter in order to see the card.  This is my version of it.  I love the Stampin Chalk Marker - it worked wonderfully to add snow to my tree.

CS: Smokey Slate, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Paper
DSP: Winter Frost Specialty DSP

Baby Shower Card and Gift Card Holder

Yesterday was Nancy's (from Nanny's Pansy Patch) daughter's baby shower.  This is the card I made for the expectant mommy and daddy.  I hope it at least resembles a diaper bag since that's what I was going for!  The "diaper bag" was actually a purse from SVG Cuts that I cut with my Silhouette.  It opens from the bottom.  The bib, crown and teddy bear were cuts purchased from the Silhouette store.  Card stock was Stampin Up, ribbon, dsp, brads from my stash.  The Princess Castle gift card holder below was also from SVG Cuts - ribbon,  CS, ink, label and rhinestones from Stampin Up.
It was a perfect bright sunny day for a baby shower.  The food and restaurant were teriffic and I'm sure the new mommy and daddy loved all the beautiful gifts they received. Be sure to stop by Nanny's Pansy Patch to see the adorable card Nancy made for her daughter.

Thanks for stopping by today.
