Valentine Sweetheart Treat Bags Kit

These Stampin Up Sweetheart Valentine Treat bags are perfect for little Valentine candies.   I made all twelve that come in the kit.  I decided to use the pool party twine and tags that came in the kit on another project.   The ribbon was from from my stash from who knows how long ago.  But I think it came from Michaels.  The heart tag was from the Hostess Set Perfectly You (retired from the Holiday mini).  The red glimmer paper hearts were punched from the (also retired) punch with three hearts - sorry I don't remember what it's called.  These were fast and easy to make and hold a good amount of candy.

Snow Flakes for Mom

I made 30 snowflakes for Mom to give to her friends and caregivers at her Assisted Living facility.  They are a Stampin Up kit.  It took 3 kits of 10 to make them.  They do take some time to make but are so worth it.  I wrapped them in a cello bag with a piece of pool party cardstock so they would be easier for Mom to handle.  The tag was stamped with the sentiment from the Warmth and Wonder Hostess Stamp set.  I added a rhinestone to the tag and tied it to the bag with some ribbon.  Hope she likes them.

Five days before the big day!  Thanks for stopping in today.  Hope your holidays are merry!

Elf Legs!

Yikes!  There's an elf in the candy basket!  These are so fun to make.  You make them with the Top Note Die, DSP, and popsicle sticks.  My popsicle sticks are more the size of tongue depressors than an actual popsicle!  I've added bells to the toes and ribbons.

Angel Ornaments

These adorable angels are made with the Stampin Up Bow Die.  There are many versions out there in blog land with instructions and video's on You Tube.  I've made one for my Hair Dresser, my Pet Sitter who is a recent cancer survivor and my Pet Groomer.  The blow drier, pink cancer ribbon and the dog and cat were all cut with my Silhouette Cameo - love that thing.

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday preparations.  Thanks for stopping in today.

Magnificent Maple Wolf

I needed a belated masculine birthday card for a friend.  I first saw this wolf made with the Magnificent Maple at Frenchie Stamps and thought it would make a great masculine card.  This card needed to go in the mail and I needed to make it quick - not the usual several hours it normally takes me!  This card came together very quickly - for me anyway!  I like the way it turned out.  Hope you do too.

Supplies:
Stamps: Magnificent Maple, Label Love
CS: Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky, Very Vanilla
DSP: Sweater Weather
Accessories:  Owl Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Artisan Label Punch, Window Frames Framelits, Burlap Ribbon, Candy Dots, Signo White Gel Pen

Thanks for stopping by today.

Halloween Birthday Gift Box

A friend asked me to make a gift box and card for a Halloween Birthday party.  I decorated the top and three sides.  I neglected to photograph the finished card - I hate when I do that!  Anyway, above are photos of the decorated box, also the envelope.

Stampin Up Supplies:

Extra Large Gift Box - Holiday Catalog
Witches Brew DSP - Holiday Catalog
Black Chevron Ribbon
Gift Bow Die
Rosette Die
Envelope Punch Board (for 4 x 8 card)
Black Cardstock
Bat Punch (retired)
Circle Punch
Circle Framelits (for crescent moon)
Basic Gray CS and Vellum for moon
Staz On Black Ink

Non SU:
Ghosts #2 Bigz Die
Silhouette Cameo and images: Graveyard scene, Black Cat
Little Ghost on top - Old Jolee embellishment

The box was stuffed with black tissue paper and was the perfect width to hold the gift card and envelope.  This was soooooo much fun to make!

Thanks for visiting today.

Witches Hat Box

I made this cute little witches hat box to hold some candy.  I managed to get three peanut butter pumpkins (small ones) in it.  I originally saw it at Flowerbug's Inkspot and had to try it.  There's a link there to instructions.  I like how it turned out.   I used all SU products except the purple glitter on the buckle.  One piece of black cardstock, a strip of dsp, a star stamp, white craft ink, a punch (for the buckle) and some ribbon to hang (you can only see a little bit of the ribbon on the top of the box) is pretty much all you need.  Try it.

Happy Halloween!  Thanks for stopping in today.
