I have to thank my friends Nancy, Rachel and Sarah over at Nanny's Pansy Patch for encouraging me to create a blog and especially to Rachel who helped me with some of the technical stuff. I'm still learning and I have lots to learn! I decided to try a new to me technique. Using the new Stampin Up Textured Impressions Embossing folder called Lacy Brocade - in the 2012 Holiday Catalog - I inked up the folder in Midnight Muse ink and ran it through the Big Shot with Crumb Cake card stock. I think it makes a great background for the lovely image from Serene Silhouettes. Can you see the paper piercing on the Labels collection framelits? Using the paper piercing pack makes it a snap to line up the piercing perfectly.
